1962 Studebaker "Grand Turisimo" Hawk; power steering, power brakes, auto transmission, "289" V-8 with 4 BBl and dual exhausts. Modern "Kenwood" Stereo with C.D. and remote tuner. All Invoices showing recent repairs and reconditioning including re-built engine and automatic transmission; rebuilt "Dana" positraction and axle bearings and seals (2007) including front and rear brakes, drums;, and new master cylinder New front end ball joints, Tie rod ends, recent additional extensive work in the past 1000 miles (invoices included) with all new suspension and related components; and exhaust system renewed. The extentsive body modifications where reportedly done from a rendering done by Brooks Stevens who was very involved in the design of the G.T. hawk; and customised by a follower of his work; "Beansie" Bernardo, a famous East Coast customiser, he did all work in "Old School" lead and metal finishing; the modifications where completed over 35 years ago, and took several years to complete at that time; and include canted quad headlights, peaked rear roof line, custom hooded and peaked taillights,hood air scoop, all exterior trim removed, electric door selinoids, trunk selinoid, and stainless mouldings modified;;carpeted trunk with car cover, well presented for the age of the modifications and with the exception of some laquer checking is in very, very presentable exterior finish; for the age.. Copies of newspaper and other articles accompany the Studebaker.A very unique example of a very unusual vehicle the 67,000 miles believed actual; all work invoices indicate this is correct; with much work done relating to the milage.
