The body boasts correct panels gaps and fit, all of the brightwork has been refinished or replated, and the car even rides on wide white wall tires with correct factory wheel covers. The engine bay is also restored to new-stock condition, with an eye toward originality throughout. The interior is expertly restored to a very high level and presents extremely well, with finishings, gauges, knobs and controls all in outstanding condition. Features and details that are unique to the early '55 Thunderbirds include; Ford crest and crossed flag emblems, Flat 2-spoke steering wheel with clear plastic spokes and domed hub - the steering wheel is so neat, if you've never seen one please take a look at the photos.
